About Our Bethesda Restaurant
Our name, Cooper's Mill, was inspired by a flour mill that opened in Tarrytown in 1886 and for many years refined more than 300 barrels of flour a day. Cooper's Mill in Bethesda captures the essence of Maryland while honoring the area's hard-working farmers and craft distillers.
Proudly presenting the flavors of the region, Executive Chef Chris Murry utilizes locally and regionally grown ingredients for an always fresh culinary approach. Whether it's triple smoked pastrami from a neighborhood deli in Georgetown or heirloom tomatoes from a family farm in Maryland, local ingredients are the cornerstone of our restaurant's signature dishes.
Reclaimed barn wood and rich marble highlights create a modern rustic environment for a unique dining experience. Comfortably enjoy fresh cuisine in style when you reserve our private dining space. With the ability to host up to 30 guests, there isn't a better spot to host your family reunion, birthday celebration, rehearsal dinner or bridal shower.
Savor a handcrafted cocktail made from our wide selection of the region's best bourbons and gins including Green Hat Gin, District Vodka and Montgomery County's own Twin Valley distillers. Our friendly, professional bartenders combine local spirits with fresh juices to quench your sophisticated palate. The only thing more delightful than your drink will be the company you share it with at Cooper's Mill.
